Join LWVSC and the Edmonds Waterfront Center for a fascinating—and timely—presentation on how social media influencers, political operatives, and sympathetic media spread rumors, conspiracy theories, and disinformation in today’s digital world. 

We'll hear Stephen Prochaska, PhD candidate and graduate research assistant at the University of Washington’s Center for an Informed Public, discuss  “Participatory Persuasion: Narrative, Infrastructure, and Manipulated Rumors on Social Media”
