What is this?
There are legacy forests in Snohomish County. These are forests logged before 1945 and left to regenerate naturally. They are diverse forests again, some used by Native peoples – our next Old Growth. But they are subject to timber sales by the WA Dept. of Natural Resources. A group of us have begun a strategy to protect them and we welcome your help. We will meet for an hour monthly. Please join us.
